The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies, Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These currencies can be traded at the item upgrade rs NPCs Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded to the maximum level once for a slot. Upgrades to that slot will be less expensive afterward. The pity system that was introduced with The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance in upgrades.
Upgrades
In gaming upgrades are the replacements of components that enhance performance or add new features. They can be bought or earned through various ways, including through in-game events and from cash shop items.
Upgrades are only available to specific items. In contrast to enchantments that can be added to anything, upgrades can only be applied to the item they are attached to. As such, upgrades cannot be applied to a weapon when it already has been equipped by a player. However, some items can be upgraded many times, providing a much more benefit to the owner of the item.
The mechanism of upgrading is fairly new. It was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows players to add additional enhancements to equipment to increase its power, from simple boosts in strength to massive damage and defense enhancements. The upgrades are split into tracks, and each has limitations on the amount of upgrades that can be done. These limits are meant to stop players from scavenging low-keystone dungeons, and then upgrading their gear all the way up.
Consumables, armor, and weapons are all upgradeable gear. Most gear can be upgraded as it is dropped, though a few items (such as Ornn's gear or the baby Dracolich pet) aren't upgradeable. Gear can be upgraded to higher levels by buying a recipe from an upgrade vendor, then joining it with an item in the appropriate upgrade slot. A player can see the amount of upgrades a piece of equipment is equipped with by looking at its inventory icon or by searching for the item in the shop.
The upgrade system has two major drawbacks. The one is that it may be difficult to identify what items are upgradeable as the upgrade vendors don't always display all of them. In addition, the upgrade textures are displayed above the model of the item which can obscure enchantment glint and other details.
The other drawback is that upgrades can be costly. Every step to an item's upgrade level is a specific number of Valorstones or crests, depending on the item's slot and item level. Weapons typically require more crests and Valorstones to upgrade than bracers or gloves, for example. Cash shop items can lower the cost.
Recycles
In the wake of a growing awareness of how single-use products and consumption habits that are wasteful can contribute to environmental degradation, many people are shifting their shopping practices. Certain people are buying high-quality items that will last longer, or recycle their old gadgets in search of an answer. Some consumers are focusing on recycled products and seek the most recycled content when buying. This will hopefully reduce the amount of resources needed to produce and extract new materials, and help create a more sustainable world.
It is now easier for consumers than ever before to find recycling. Many items, like paper and furniture have a recycled component to them. These items are made from recycled or discarded materials. They can be purchased at a retail store or online. In addition to preserving the environment, these products are often more affordable than the alternatives.
When an item is leveled it can be given additional bonuses along with its improved stat. The bonuses are based on the item's tier and can be of different types. Those with the higher tiers will receive more bonuses than those who have lower tiers.
As the world economy shifts away from extraction of resources to reusing and recycling, more companies are committing to produce greener products. A lot of them are focusing their efforts on recycling materials and offering incentives to customers who recycle their products. In the future, it's likely that we'll see even more recycled items on the shelves and in the stores, as the demand for sustainable products is increasing.
Rerolls
In Genshin Impact - or any gacha game, for that matter Rerolling is an essential tool. Rerolling allows players to play again at a weapon or character they like, either because it is attractive or they think it's a great match for their team.
Rerolls function by allowing players to reroll the items that are available for the current game in exchange for a small amount of materials. The prices of these weapons increase as the number of rerolls within rows increases, however certain items may not be offered at all (for instance the melee weapon is not available to characters who can only use weapons with a range).
When an item levels up it enters the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. These are based on the type of item that it is. For instance an upgrade that increases a weapon's main stat will also increase its additional stat. The extras will also change if the item is modified.

If a player has enough stamina for an reroll, they will be able to press a button using the arrows that circle to swap their current item to a different one. The new item will come with the same level but an additional set of bonuses, based on whether the previous item was a gun, sword or watch, or a book.
Rerolling doesn't reset an item's current bonus levels, however a player may still be required to meet the minimum requirements for their special ability. This could make it difficult to get an item with the bonus they desire but it also allows them to try for another alternative in the future, without having to invest more resources.
The item will get a tier bonus and will ensure that it will receive an amount of statistics in the future. This is the main reason why it's important to only upgrade gear as far as you can, as when you reach a level that upgrades will not make a huge difference it's pointless.
Sets
A set is a collection of items connected by some property. They are commonly employed in the field of mathematics, and are represented using an equivalence notation such as . Sets possess a variety of important properties, including the commutative and associative properties. These properties help us learn about how sets work and have practical applications.
The items in a set can be upgraded to gain extra bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can boost the defense of the armour while weapons can offer additional damage base. These additional stats are added after the base stats of the item, but before the flats and percentages. These additional stats are an excellent way to add value.
When an item is upgraded, it will replace the base stat with the new one. For example, an item that had 20 base damage is now sporting 40 base damage. The base armor and upgrade requirements will remain. This is an excellent way to acquire an elite item for a low cost.
Upgrades of unique items are highly profitable, particularly if they have an interesting mod. For instance, a unique belt that has +5 IAS could have a huge impact on the quality of a build, especially early hell. It's also a great method to increase the value of an item by injecting a strong or perfect roll.
Upgraders for items differ for unique, set and rare items. The item will typically be upgraded to its new type once it is upgraded to level 10. For instance upgrading an item that has the highest defense roll will result in an armor item of elite quality that has the same base type. This is not a guarantee, and in certain instances, an upgrade will not change the type of item.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot), then move on to non-BiS, items. This will ensure that the player has a strong base when they level up, and they can concentrate on increasing their tiers and getting additional stats.
